About the role

As a Senior Account Manager, your role is to drive and develop your client accounts both in terms of client satisfaction as well as new business opportunities. You should be a capable and confident operator with a thorough understanding of the required media and communication skills.

Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Running consultation and corporate communication programmes for a wide range of property, public sector and corporate clients, you’ll be well versed in all aspects of the planning and property landscape and be able to demonstrate an up-to-date understanding of how to implement and successfully deliver planning consents for our clients
  • Acting as a mentor and day to day contact for junior consultants, or stepping into line management where appropriate
  • Comfortable managing and developing training for wider team
  • Overseeing projects and ensuring junior members of the team deliver consistent, high-quality material and content
  • Working as the Senior Consultant with day-to-day responsibility for key clients, working closely with Kanda Directors and Managing Director
  • Produce new business proposals and develop and monitor appropriate budgets for overall client programmes
  • Responsibility for key clients billing process to ensure accuracy and payment
  • Have an increased understanding of the commercial drivers for your clients and business as a whole
  • Work with the management team to develop Kanda brand and new business strategy
  • Share best practice work, ideas and documents with the rest of the team
  • Act as a Kanda ambassador, reflecting the values of the business internally and externally (Inclusivity, Openness, Collaboration, Creativity and Integrity
  • Overseeing InCopy texts edits and liaising with the studio team to ensure all edits have synced with the design files
  • Ensure compliance to GDPR

Kanda role:

  • Actively contribute towards Kanda marketing initiatives, sharing and inputting into social media content and attendance to events etc.
  • Timely delivery of all business administrative responsibilities e.g. timesheets, expenses, providing feedback for reviews etc.
  • Participate in Kanda new business activity; research, drafting proposals, brainstorms and meetings
  • Develop key relationships with in-house studio team and be respectful of their time
